Overview:

Our agency was approached by a first-time founder based in Australia who had an idea for an app in the finance category. The app would use the ROSCA (Rotating Savings and Credit Association) model to help groups of people save money together. The client was looking for help building an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) and asked for our assistance in designing and building the app from scratch.

Process:

We started by working closely with the client to fully understand their vision for the app and the target audience. From there, we developed the full UX/UI designs for the app, including a high fidelity prototype to give the client a clear understanding of how the app would look and function. We also designed the full identity for the app, including the logo.

Once the designs were finalized, we began the development process using the Ionic Framework and Google Firebase for the backend. This allowed us to build a hybrid app that could be deployed on both iOS and android from one codebase.

In addition to the main app, we also built an admin portal/dashboard for the client to manage the entire business. This included features for managing users, payouts, and other aspects of the business.

Results:

The app was successfully developed and launched within the specified timeframe, and the client was extremely satisfied with the final product. The app has been well-received by users and has gained traction in the market.

The client has now joined the leading Accelerator programme in Australia and has big ambitions for the app in 2023. We are confident that our team's expertise in app development and ability to bring the client's vision to life played a significant role in the app's success.
